The Issues

"I've spent the past six months listening to the concerns of residents and business owners within District 6, helping me develop concrete positions on quality of life issues relevant to our community. Here is a brief synopsis of where I stand. Please let me know your thoughts!"

Safe & Sustainable Living

Corey supports an increase in funding for more quality affordable housing units throughout the entire city. He also believes in using a city-wide perspective to develop strategies that will eliminate homelessness and create quality housing in every St. Pete neighborhood.

Better Regional Transportation

Corey understands what it is like to commute across the bay for work. Thousands of people do it every day. Local government entities should work together to improve our transportation woes, without burdening taxpayers. Corey has a plan that will lead to less fuel emissions and shorter commute times across the Tampa Bay region.

Educational Equity

Corey is a product of the Pinellas County school system and a graduate of the University of South Florida St. Petersburg. He recognizes the importance of an education, particularly an early childhood education. He acknowledges that not everyone will attend college, so it is up to us to ensure that vocational & technical training programs have the resources they need to provide assistance to those in need.

Improve Access to Local Government

As a former neighborhood association president and member of the Council of Neighborhood Associations, Corey knows that the first step to solving our problems begins at the street & district level. He values communication and transparency; two very important traits he will bring with him to City Hall.
